I should be out at Denios buying that hot sauce sign for Thug. Our 10 year anniversary will be here soon. Just one more month to go! It's like Christmas around here during our anniversary. See, Thug doesn't celebrate any other holiday. It's against his religion. No Christmas, no Thanksgiving, no Halloween or Valentines Day. No birthdays either. Not one single holiday. 4th of July? Nope. But our anniversary is something different... it's our Christmas.

Me, Thug and Booger, sitting around the Nordic Track opening up all of our gifts from eachother. Our Nordic Tree, as I like to call it. Lame, eh? Oh but this year the Nordic Tree is in the shed! Perhaps I should buy a big plant to put all of our surprises under.

Yes, it is very hard with holidays. We have our "negotiations". Christmas is done at my parents house but Booger is not to go sit on Santas lap at the mall. No Easter bunny either. But I'm not bitching about it really. Because he's more lax about it than most of them. It could very easily have been "no holidays whatsoever!!!" I'm lucky that way. Thug is a good man.

He loves me.

I wish I didn't want more. We have so much. We went to Home Depot yesterday to pick up some flowers, any flowers I wanted and planters too. It feels good to know we can go out and buy these things and not look at the price tags. It's not about bragging either, not at all. It's about how lucky we are when there are so many people out there who have so very little. I can't imagine having to count my pennies to see if I've got enough for gas. I know people like that. People who find that a mistake has been made on their checks and they need that 5 dollars that day. They can't wait until next payday where it'll be added on. 5 dollars is 5 fucking dollars.

Ooops, I guess I didn't need to say fuck.

We looked at window air conditioners. Ours is too small to do much cooling after 90 degrees. We need to buy one of those big ones for central air. Makes resale so much better.

We want to sell this dump soon after it gets fixed. You know those commercials where they show the happy little family buying their new Champion manufactured home? Yeah, that's us. That WAS us. Champion needs to get their asses out here, after 2 years, and get to fixing up their little mistakes. There's too many to mention right now.

We want to sell. Anyone out there wanna buy?

I suppose I should shower, brush my teeth, put in my contacts and wander outside to plant my new flowers.
