no boardwalk First off, we didn't go to the boardwalk because Thug was in a little car accident yesterday morning. It's never good to wake up to the phone, pick it up and hear "Mrs. Thug... you're husband was in a car accident this morning." What then follows is "he's alright but he needs you to pick him up and take him to the hospital". Now why in the world can't they say that first, "YOUR HUSBAND IS ALRIGHT but was in a minor car accident and needs you to come pick him up". I then realize I'm having an asthma attack and when I wake up Booger she's breathing like crap. The inhaler is nowhere to be found. Frantically searching the house, trying to get her to knock off the attitude, help me out here. I've never driven out to this place before so I'm stressing about that. Yiiii! I get on the interstate, end up downtown instead. Double back and onto the freeway and stressing again because I'm pretty sure I've missed another turn off. Luckily I find the right one and head straight to the facility. Oboy. This place is out in nowhere land and it's a good 45 minutes away from my house. It only took me an hour and a half to get there. Poor Thug. He's still having problems from the accident in November or December of 2000. He shows me my truck, not too much damage thanks to that metal bumper thingie. He's pissed tho because the guy who hit him didn't have a license, admitted he was speeding, it wasn't his car and is most likely an illegal alien. A migrant worker. So now we ask... does the owner of this car have insurance! We shall see. When the cops show up, the guy starts playing the ol' "no speak english" routine. What bull. I don't know. So today I'll wash the truck (he's not been keeping it clean), clean up the house a bit. Maybe I can go down to Evangelines to get one of those disco balls for my car and that steering wheel cover I saw at Hot Topic a while back, if it's still there. That's it for now.
